Vice President Mike Pence leaves an NFL game after several players knelt during the national anthem.

Pence left Sundayís game between the Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers after a number of San Francisco players dropped to one knee during the Star Spangled Banner.

In a tweet, Pence says he left the game because he and President Trump will not dignify any event that disrespects the soldiers, flag or anthem.

He added he does not believe itís too much too ask for players to respect the country.
